Joyce Mihran Turley, Illustrator of Exhibits and award-winning books, specializes in |
|
|
While earning her B.S. in Mathematics at Case Western Reserve University, Joyce studied painting and life drawing at the Cleveland Institute of Art. She continued her art studies at Colorado State University, establishing her illustration and design studio in the 1980s. She lives in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains - west of Fort Collins, Colorado. |
Joyce's illustration studio permits convenient observation of deer, coyotes, lizards, bears, snakes, and hawks - just outside the picture windows! Her love of nature is reflected in her artwork. Joyce shares her home with husband and hiking partner Rick, having quickly adjusted to their empty nest! |

Several years ago, Rick and I traveled to Kazakhstan where we had the opportunity to tour the Sunkar Eagle Farm. What a conversation I had with this Sea Eagle...Someday I hope to illustrate a book on these exquisite and precise Kazakh hunters. |
